Dr. Megan Golani
Dr. Megan Golani is a naturopathic physician and a licensed midwife. After graduating with honors and receiving a certificate in natural childbirth from National College of Natural Medicine (now NUNM), she completed a three-year CNME approved residency with a focused on primary care and community medicine.
She is the course director for the Clinical Education and Pediatrics and Geriatrics series and is the Nutrition Tread lead in the College of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Golani is also an Adjunct Professor in the School of Undergraduate and Graduate Studies. She is currently seeing patients within the NUNM Health Center (Lair Hill) and continues to support families as a home-birth midwifery assistant.
Dr. Golani received her baccalaureate degree from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, where she focused on developmental and transpersonal psychology, with an emphasis on the mind-body connection. She sought out the study of naturopathic medicine with a desire to support patients and communities in their health and to provide healing options for their healthcare. She feels privileged to be able to teach so many students over the years, who in turn, are supporting others in their own healthcare journey.
Dr. Golani believes strongly in the holistic approach to medicine; integrating nutritional and lifestyle counseling, IV therapy, herbal medicine, and homeopathy to provide individualized patient-centered care. She is passionate about supporting patients with full spectrum Primary and Integrative Care with a subspecialty on Women’s’ Health, Gastroenterology and Gender Affirming Care.
When not working, Dr. Golani is enjoys gardening in her backyard, camping on the coast and backpacking in the mountains, practicing Vipassana Meditation, and traveling abroad with her husband.
