We are more than a clinic at HLC, we are collective,
growing, learning, and healing collaboratively!
We need your support!
Healthy Living Community is at an exciting and critical growth stage. We are requiring funding for the following projects that help us establish financial sustainability; deepen our offerings; expand our community.
Expand our Mental Healthcare Program that launched this August
Develop an individualized group care program
Hosting Ayurvedic Interns that will provider volunteer clinical and community support
Partner with non-profit organizations (like Alder Commons) to offer community classes and accessible healthcare in a community-health framework
Contract with Regence to accept insurance if members opt for that form of pay to broaden our access to care and diversity of pay options.
HLC is a 501(c)(3) tax-deductible non-profit organization dedicated to the health and well-being of our community, families, and individuals we serve. We believe health is a fundamental human right and that health equity occurs when everyone can attain their full potential in health and well-being.
Working towards this goal, HLC is a nonprofit community supported healthcare clinic supported by donations, gifts, bequests, grants and memberships. Our mission and vision is to provide access to high-quality equity-oriented health care to all. We refuse to let cost be a barrier to care. Thus we strive to deliver primary care from a collaborative, trauma informed and equitable framework.
We need your help and support. Your contributions would help support our mission and vision in many ways, including:
Helping to support an innovative community based equitable health care model (such as group models; integrative pregnancy and postpartum support; classes and events that supports the continuation of primary care).
Supporting a holistic model that is boldly addressing social determinants of health and access to care.
Making opportunities and resources possible to support and connect the community, families, and individuals through educational classes and activities.
(lifestyle, nutrition, gardening, exercise/movement, stress reduction, and events that other non-profits facilitate)
Increasing access to care for those who need help with sliding scale fees.
Placing a focus on wellness and prevention, which typically are not prioritized with traditional insurance based models.
These are just a few of the ways in which your support will help be of tremendous support and help make a lasting impact for generations to come. We depend upon support in our immediate community and larger network to thrive. All donations and forms of contributions are welcomed. Please consider donating today, this could be donating your time, expertise or as a financial contribution. Together we can help make a difference. Thank you for your support!!
Please consider contributing to this dream and help make a lasting impact for the communities, families and individuals we serve. There are many ways to help support the HCL and include any of the following:
Monthly donations are a backbone to our community health model. It provides a stable source of support. We like to explore the idea that we may spend $5 on a coffee/tea a few times a week or maybe extra money on groceries that are organic. Our money goes towards what we desire or find value in. Please consider taking an active role in helping community health with a tax deductible monthly donation - even $5/month can make a lasting impact and help our community!!!
We are grateful to be a 501c3 where we can honor our donors through a tax-refund! If you feel called to contribute to HLC, we would greatly appreciate any one-time amount. Sometimes we do a reminder as we get closer to tax-season. Please consider this as an opportunity to help our community stay rooted and thriving!
Some suggested donation amounts are:
- $360 / year to support our patient care fund.
- $500 / year to support programs
We partner with clinics who are unable to offer sliding scale but value what we do at HLC, so they share our fundraisers and donate yearly in the spirit of community health. Or if you are a fellow non-profit, let's connect! We can learn from each other; promote services; conspire about how to radically shift our system!
