Cecilia (Cece) Reinig
Cecilia is an Ayurvedic Health Educator and Yoga Instructor who works with people to improve their health and find joy using the principles and practices of Ayurveda. Translated from Sanskrit, Ayurveda means the "science of life" and comes from India’s classical healing system as a sister science of yoga. It considers each person’s constitution to inform individualized health practices to achieve balance between mind, body and spirit.
Cecilia believes that within each of us lies the power to thrive. Through daily routine, diet, and lifestyle, Ayurveda brings us back to balance in subtle and profound ways over time. Her approach is compassionate, caring and tailored to the goals of each client. She has taught Ayurveda and Yoga in a variety of formats serving private, community and corporate clients.
Cecilia is a graduate of the Sarasvati Institute of Ayurveda and Yoga Therapy and has practiced Ayurvedic seasonal cleanses since 2017. She has completed nearly 1,300 hours of advanced Ayurvedic studies and is honored to be joining the Healthy Living Community as a practicum intern. She finds serving the community in this way deeply rewarding.
She is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher and member of NAMA (National Ayurvedic Medical Association) and IAYT (International Association of Yoga Therapists).
In her free time, Cecilia enjoys yoga, traveling, hula dancing and spending time with her husband and son.
