Meet Rafael Gutierrez, also known as Raf, a dedicated advocate for compassionate, community-centered healthcare. Originally from Northern California's Wine Country and born in Baja California, Mexico, Rafael brings over 15 years of experience in Health Care Administration and Patient Advocacy from the San Francisco Bay Area to Portland, Oregon, his adopted home since 2017. Throughout his career, Rafael has worked to support individuals facing complex economic, social, and medical needs, dedicating himself to enhancing accessibility and quality of care.

In his personal life, Rafael enjoys the vibrant outdoors of the Pacific Northwest through hiking, cooking, and home improvement projects. He also shares his passion for wine and regional flavors with his partner and their two dogs. As a new Board Member at Healthy Living Community, Rafael is excited to further his commitment to supporting diverse communities and creating meaningful impact for those in need.
